WHAT IS A GEOTHERMAL SYSTEM?
A commercial geothermal heat pump is an energy-efficient system that uses the stable temperature of the earth to heat and cool buildings. It works by transferring heat between the ground and the building through a network of underground pipes. In winter, it extracts heat from the ground to warm the building, and in summer, it removes heat from the building and transfers it back into the earth to keep things cool. This system reduces energy costs, lowers carbon emissions, and provides reliable year-round comfort for businesses, schools, homes, and large facilities.
TYPES OF GROUND LOOP SYSTEMS
VERTICAL LOOP
In a vertical loop design, boreholes are drilled to 100-600' depths and loops are installed vertically. This is the most popular type of system and requires less land, idea for limited space.
HORIZONTIAL LOOP
In a horizontal design, properties with ample land and space can utilize this concept. Trenches are excavated and the piping is installed horizontally.
OPEN LOOP
An open loop system is best installed where high amounts of groundwater are available. By using a clean and reliable water well as the exchange medium instead of using closed pipe. This type of system does require a discharge well. Approval by local codes may be necessary.
POND LOOP
A pond loop system is best suited for properties with a pond or large body of water. The pipes are submerged in the pond/water at least 8 feet deep. This type of system has the lowest installation cost.
ADVANTAGES OF GEOTHERMAL
Geothermal Systems are the most efficient heating and cooling system available! Up to 500% efficiency compared to traditional HVAC systems.
Let the ground you walk on virtually heat and cool your project! Save on heating and cooling costs as utility bills including hot water see 40-70% savings!!

The lifespan of geothermal systems is generally estimated at 25 years and 50 years for the exterior portion. The lifespan is increased by having no outdoor units.
Geothermal is a renewable green energy and is the most eco-friendly way to heat and cool your project. It is safe, clean and reliable. This system also reduces pollution and helps reduce dependency on fossil fuels.
Geothermal has little maintenance and runs quietly . An excellent return on investment.
